ALCOVE – Marion Louise Leigh, 86, passed away at home on Sunday afternoon, June 13, 2021. Born in Albany on February 7, 1935, she was daughter of the late Arthur and Louise Flach Seaburg, and wife of the late Robert M. Leigh, who passed away August 21, 1999. Marion was a graduate of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School and a lifelong Alcove resident. She was the Postmaster of the Alcove Post Office for 25 years. Marion was a member of Alcove Assembly of God for many years, and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
Marion is survived by three daughters, Tammy Leigh, Janice (John) Radley, and Deonne (Larry) Rosen; four grandchildren, Nicole Howell, Robert and David Radley, and Samuel Rosen; four great-grandchildren, Rylie, Robert, Johnathan, and Carson Radley; brother, Curtis (Donna) Seaburg; sister-in-law, Joan Seaburg; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Arthur “Sonny” Seaburg.
Relatives and friends may call at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, on Wednesday, June 16th at 10 a.m., and are welcome to remain for the funeral at 11 a.m. with Marion’s nephew, Rev. Curtis Seaburg Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Alcove Cemetery.
