Sending heartfelt love and comforting thoughts to all . Aunt Dee was the kindest, most loving, and heart fully enjoyed our visits- I don’t know who enjoyed them more- her or us. . I loved her positive attitude, laughter and smiles. Most of all I admired her determined independence. I will carry Aunt Dee’s memory close to me forever-
God Bless

Dee may be gone now but her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren. Although Dee contracted polio in her early years and was forced to rely on a walker for the majority of her life, she never complained about her affliction or allowed it to affect her attitude or determination to raise her family. We believe that Dee had what the pioneers called "True Grit", a belief that no problem is too large to be solved, and hard work is the key to living a successful life. We have no doubt that Dee passed that true grit on to Marv, Donnie, and Clayton and surely they did the same for their children. May Dee Rest in Peace.
