Obituary of MaryAnn Brate
GREENVILLE – MaryAnn Brate, 75, passed away Friday May 14, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital with family by her side. She lived at full and commendable life. She always put others before her, was a caregiver for many, and a pillar of strength for her family. Her most treasured moments were time spent with those she loved. She will be deeply missed by family and friends and will forever be in their hearts.
She is survived by her husband, August William Brate Jr.; brother, Daniel Gunville; children, Tammy (Bruce) Hunt, Roland “John” III (Tina) Hildenbrandt, James (JoAnn) Hildenbrandt, Michael (Nancy Kay) Hildenbrandt, and David (Jennifer) Hildenbrandt; grandchildren, Michael (Heather) and Matthew (Lacie) Czyzewski, Tammy, Katy, Angelina, Victor and Shea; and great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Victoria, Vayana, Maxim, Morgan, and Madison. Also, her step-children, Jeff (Michelle) Brate, Carol (James) Rapp, Katie (Stephen) Mauer, Vicki (Chris) Mockler; step-grandchildren, Jessie and Billy Rapp, Chris Mockler, Sara and Stephanie Mauer; and step-great-grandchildren, Lilly, Mason, and Colton.
A private service for immediate family will be held to celebrate MaryAnn’s life. Arrangements by A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, Greenville. Condolences can be posted at ajcunninghamfh.com.
