Obituary of Arvessa M. Brandow

CONESVILLE - Arvessa M. "Dolly" Brandow, age 79, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Livingston Hills Nursing Center after a brief illness. Born in Broome on Sept. 14, 1932, she was daughter of the late Carl and Bertha Egner Cleveland, and wife of the late Donald H. Brandow. Dolly was a lifelong resident of Gilboa-Conesville. She was a homemaker and sold antiques with her husband. Dolly was a member of the Conesville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Mountaintop Seniors. Dolly is survived by her sons, Donald "Mike" Brandow (Karen) and Larry D. Brandow (Judy); 5 grandchildren, Travis Brandow (Rachel), Shelly Brandow (Carl Hawber), Jennifer Stevens (Jeff), Cheri Brandow (Artie Short) and Byron Brandow (Vicky Marsh); 5 great-grandchildren, Derrick, Brooke, Paige, Jonathan and Kristin. A calling hour will be Wednesday, July 25 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, followed by the funeral at 1 p.m. with Rev. Carol Coltrain officiating. Burial will follow in Manorkill Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Town of Conesville Rescue Squad will be appreciated.
