Obituary of Frederick A. Pfrommer

GREENVILLE - Frederick “Sonny” Pfrommer, 80, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday February 27, 2021. He was born on September 1, 1940 in Queens to the late Alphonso and Victoria Pfrommer. He lived in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and in Queens, before settling in Greenville. Sonny worked as a postal carrier for the USPS in Albany. He enjoyed shooting pool and playing cards, and especially enjoyed playing with and spending time with his grandchild and his dog. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Elizabeth McDermott and Annie Farkas. Sonny is survived by his beloved wife, Lydia Pfrommer; his daughter, Carla Pfrommer; his son, Travis Pfrommer and his wife, Adina; his grandson, Chasen Pfrommer; and his dog Pepper. Frederick has been privately cremated and there will be a celebration of his life at a later date.
