Obituary of Shirley M. Trafton

MEDUSA – Shirley Mae Trafton, 84, loving mother of four, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021. She was born in Argusville, NY on April 22, 1936, a daughter of the late Elmer and Mabel Tansey Hoyt. Shirley worked as a chef for Mullins Mountain Spring Hotel and Baumann’s Brookside. She was a member of Medusa Volunteer Fire Company and the Ladies Auxiliary. Shirley raised four children, David, Duane, Deidra, and Doreen. She has 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Shirley is also survived by a sister, Esther Weaver, and a brother, Roger Hoyt.
