Obituary of Angelo A. Rosato

RAVENA - Angelo Anthony Rosato, 93, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 7th, 2021. He was born on May 5, 1927 in Ravena. Angelo was a veteran of the US Naval Service. He had worked for the R-C-S School District for over 40 years retiring as Superintendent of Building and Grounds. He was an avid golfer and bowler, loved to spend winters in Florida enjoying time with his friends, and always enjoyed watching a good sporting event especially if it involved his granddaughters. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and close friends. He was so proud of the life he was able to build. Angelo is survived by his beloved children, Christine (Bill) Capobianco, Angelo ‘Rocky’ (Deborah) Rosato, and Michael (Karen) Rosato. His adored grandchildren, Katie Rosato (fiance Stephen Fairbrother), Carissa (Lucas) McCullough, and Britni Rosato. His great-granddaughter Harper McCullough, whom he was known to as “Poppy Senior” and loved visiting with. Along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Josephine and Angelo Rosato and his four siblings. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Ursula Millett and Crystal Fikert for their long time care and friendship for Angelo. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all services will be held privately.
