Obituary of Everett W. Noirot

FREEHOLD - Everett "Skip" Noirot, 81, passed away on Monday February 1, 2021 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 18, 1939 in Gayhead to the late Everett and Louise Myer Noirot. Known by everyone as "Skip", he was a longtime employee of Simpson Paving. He had a milk truck in the 1960's, picking up milk at local farms. He had his own trucking business, and retired from Callanan Industries. Skip was a Civil War enthusiast, loved anything Ford, and enjoyed restoring vintage tractors. He was a lifetime member of the Freehold Volunteer Fire Company. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He could carry a conversation with anyone and seemed to know everyone. Skip was predeceased by his parents, and by his sister, Kathleen Mickle of Lakeland, FL. Everett is survived by his loving wife of more than 62 years, Sandra Becker Noirot. He is also survived by his children, Walter (Maryjean) of Freehold, Pamela (Gary) Chase of Preston Hollow, and Gerald (Brandy) of Mechanicville; his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Bobby) and Parker; a new great-grandchild, Allie, who he had known was on the way; his brother, Richard (Nancy) of Lakeland, FL; and several nieces and his nephew. There will be a Celebration of his Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Freehold Volunteer Fire Company, PO Box 128, Freehold, NY 12431. Arrangements by A.J.
