Obituary of Jean H. Warwick

Jean H. Warwick March 18, 1924 – January 1, 2021 Jean H. Warwick of Catskill, daughter of the late Robert O’Donnell and Mabel Sperling, passed away in the early hours of Friday, January 1, 2021. Jean was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Walter Warwick; and her sons, Thomas and Daniel. She is survived by her loving sons, Robert (Glorine), Jim (Denise), and Eddie (Bonnie), as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean was a former resident of College Point, Whitestone, Cornwallville, and Leeds. She was a homemaker and small business owner, operating a catering business, ceramic shop, and paint class shop. Her hobbies included painting, gardening, and traveling. Jean and her husband Walter retired from New York City in 1971 and moved from Whitestone to Cornwallville. They lived in a home on Hervey Street that was built by her husband and sons. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, January 5 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. Masks are required, and social distancing will be observed. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Victor H. Nelson, followed by burial in Cornwallville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Resurrection Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 563, Cairo, NY 12413 will be appreciated.
