I spent my young years as a neighbor of this kind woman. Even when I sliced Darren’s forehead open with a swinging shovel she never expressed anger. I will always remember her quiet and kind demeanor. Think of Darren and Brian often and more in this tough time. Prayers for quick healing hearts to you all. ~Annette (Saccento) Andrew

I worked many years with Sharon. She showed all of us how a classy woman reacted to school life. She had a professional and caring relationship with the kids and staff she worked with. I will miss her.

Anyone that knew Shay loved her and prayed for a miracle, but that was not to be. She has left this Earth leaving behind a legacy that can not be duplicated. She is at a place where there is no pain, no regrets, only a God who has opened his arms to welcome her. Nana, Papa and Sonny are waiting and Mindy is prancing around longing to see her. Oh how they have missed you. Shay always had a smile, always with a welcome and an offer for a cup of tea with a piece of cake she just made. Shay was a woman of many talents, especially having the ability to remain calm and giving you reassurance when you thought things were bad. She was gifted in so many ways. She doted on her grandsons and attended all of Coles games with such pride. She created a room just for her "grammies" boy so he could watch his movies or just look at the many pictures she had gathered for him. Her kids meant everything to her and she was always there for them as well. A huge loss for her family, and a missing link for her friends. A woman full of pride, love and strength. We will miss her immensely. This is not goodbye, but so long for now. Rest peacefully grand lady, your rest is well deserved.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Nora and Jim Manon

Shay was the classy beauty in our class. Hair always in a pony tail. As she aged the hair became shorter, but she remained a beauty, always happy to see you. I remember working with her on a couple of class reunions, always organized, and with great ideas, she took such good care of Sonny and her boys and grandsons, loving them all! Her passing will have left a major hole in her family, community and friend’s lives. God speed.

"Sharon" to us was actually known as Shay or Momma Fancher. There is one word that pops in my mind with Shay, "Classy". She was a class act, along with being a sweet, talented, honest and loving women. I never knew her to judge people. She had such a big heart She would welcome you into her home without any questions. It is true that she did always put others first and herself last. I think this in all actually reality this made her feel loved, wanted and needed, which indeed she was. She was the glue to her family. I will miss getting together with her for a birthday party or an event and talking with her. We always enjoyed her talks and stories. My daughter really didn't like going to parties but she loved going to Shays and talking to her.She was simply amazing, one of a kind that you will never find, forget or replace again. We love you Shay and will miss you. I know you are up there in Heaven with all your family, where there is not pain only complete happiness.
Love you always,
Carol, Tod, Callie
