To kevin’s family, I am only learning now of kevin’s passing. It had been yrs since I ran into him downtown SS. I used to visit the floral shop weekly and it was always so full of amazingly beautiful interesting things. The best flower selection in the city of Saratoga. He was so outgoing and fun! When it closed it left a huge hole in our city and a very beautiful small town shop with city style. Kevin was upbeat and always full of hijinx and hilarity which made stooping in enjoyable. I had the feeling he loved what he did and got the most out of his life. I’m so sorry for your loss. I know it must still be horribly heartbreaking. I’ll remember him always and fondly. He was dynamic. Raechel Morris former owner of Framework. Phila st.

Dear Shirley and Rosse,
We were so shocked and saddened to see that Kevin had passed....our most sincere condolences go out to you. As we (Mom, Howie and I) were sharing memories of dear Kevin, I realized how much fun and laughter he added to all of our lives! What a great friend he was to us all and we were so fortunate to spend a lot of time with him enjoying his passion for antiques, horses and great food. I have many fond and special memories of us dining with you and enjoying Saratoga racetrack. Kevin introduced me to the track and taught me a lot about horses, the latest track fashions and the Vanderbilt family! I have since told my own children what a wonderful friend Kevin was and how his upbeat attitude always made us smile and plan fun adventures together! I will never forget when we had planned on recreating a picnic near Alcove Reservoir to mimic the movie "On Golden Pond" which had just been released. There we were, enjoying a sunny day, complete with: wicker picnic basket, checkered tablecloth, real silver utensils, china plates and some scrumptious treats, when suddenly we were rudely interrupted by a policeman silently lurking in the brush!!...The next thing we knew, he was loudly instructing us to immediately vacate the area or be arrested for trespassing!! The look on Kevin's face was priceless! How dare anyone interrupt our "Golden Pond Re-enactment"!!...We were just trying to have some innocent fun in the 1980's! (But, of course, we didn't argue...just quickly cleaned up our gourmet spread to relocate...)
Kevin was a man of numerous special talents and those of us who knew him were lucky enough to learn from him. I know that his upbeat spirit will be deeply missed by many. Let us celebrate his life by loving others, sharing the best we have to offer and finding the things that make us cry with laughter.....it would make him proud.
Love to you both, The Lord family
