Obituary of Bonnie L. Staunch

FREEHOLD - Bonnie L. Staunch, 67, passed away suddenly on Wednesday July 1, 2020 at St. Peter’s Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on December 15, 1952 in Catskill to the late Joseph and Muriel Stotesbury Staunch. She graduated from GCS and began working at Becker Electronics in East Durham. She then worked as a kitchen staff member at Sunny Hill Resort for many years. Bonnie was a member of the Freehold Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was best known for her love of walking, and could be seen walking up and down Rt. 32 and throughout the Freehold area. Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Gordon) Caldwell and Jennifer (Kevin) Warren; her grandchildren, Katrina, Danielle, Kolby, Keilani, Hannah, and Ariya; her great-grandchildren, Noah, Isabella, and Eliza; her siblings, Linda (Duncan) MacPherson, Sally Staunch, and Joe Staunch; and many nieces and nephews. Due to the current circumstances, all services will be private.
