Dear Magee family,
I am sorry for your loss. I did not know Phyllis very well, but having many of her grand children in class I am sure I missed knowing a wonderful teacher and lady. With heart felt sympathy.

To Mrs. Magee's entire family I am sorry for the loss of the wonderful woman in your life that has now joined the kingdom. She was my first grade teacher and my Mom would bring me to the house for extra help. It was a pleasure to be her student and see her in the community. God Bless you.

I remember that I had to be put back to first grade when we moved to Greenville because I was so far behind from my old school. I would only agree if I was put in Mrs. Magee's class. Because I knew her. She made me feel so good & comfortable. I was able to catch up.
