Obituary of Royal Arthur Hamilton, Sr.

GREENVILLE – Royal A. Hamilton, Sr., 86, passed away on Tuesday May 5, 2020 at Albany Medical Center. He was born on June 11, 1933 in Johnson City, NY to the late Royal and Emma Walker Hamilton. He joined the US Air Force in 1950 and was honorably discharged in 1954. He worked for IBM, then as a self employed mechanic, and finally retired from upholstering. Royal was a past member of the Greenville Rotary and attended the House of Glory Church. He enjoyed stock car racing and working on the racecars. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by all his siblings. Royal is survived by his wife of 50 years, Eunice Hamilton; his children, Roxanne Mancinelli, Rory Hamilton, Glenda Cukierski, Rana Daigneault, and Royal Hamilton, Jr.; his step-children, Debra Butner, Linda Shuster, and Richard Klemtner; his eleven grandchildren; his three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place outside on Saturday May 16th at 1pm at House of Glory Church, 11693 State Route 32, Greenville.
