Marie Jennings (92) a life long resident of Greenville, NY passed away at St. Peter's Hospice Inn on June 18, 2012. She was born in Greenville, NY on Oct. 1, 1919 daughter of the late Charles & Elsie (Olmsted) Roe. She was a graduate of G.C.S. Marie worked at the Shepard Farm Resort and then operated "House on the Hill" with her late husband Webb Jennings. She was formerly active in the Eastern Star and the Clematis Garden Club. She had also enjoyed working and meeting the people at the Greenville-Norton Hill U.M.C. Thrift Shop. An avid Yankee Fan her family and friends knew that all activities were on hold untill the game was over. She was a dear friend to many and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all. She was predeceased by her husband Webb Jennings, a sister Eloise Roe and a nephew Tom Jennings. Surviving is a daughter, Jane Crossett (Jim), a son Wayne Jennings (Donna), her grandchildren; Kimberly Paige, Mark Jennings(Maria), Becky Riley(Steve), Michael Biskupich & Zachary Crossett; her great grandchildren, Abby, Katie, Jack, Michael, Morgan, Natalie & Brooke; also a sister Roberta Jennings, a dear friend Gabe Radnai and all her friends at Tuscany Meadows. Funeral service will be Monday June 25, 11am at the Greenville-Norton Hill U.M.C. in Norton Hill, NY. Friends may call at the Cunningham Funeral Home on Sunday June 24 from 4 to 8pm. Interment will be in the Greenville Cemetery.
