Obituary of Joseph Wagner
CLIMAX - Joseph Wagner, 93, was called home on Saturday April 25, 2020 after a short illness. He was born on July 29, 1926 in Yugoslavia. He moved to the US in 1955 and worked as a meat cutter at West Point. He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters.
Joseph leaves behind the love of his life, Eleanor. They were married 63 years. He’s also survived by his pride and joys, Josef and his wife Kristine, and Lawrence and his wife Christine. He was blessed with two grandsons, Joey and Jonathan; and a great granddaughter, Adalynn. They were his world.
Due to the current circumstances, the service will be private. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday April 28th at 12:30pm at the Fairlawn Cemetery, Prattsville, NY. The family would ask in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Community Hospice, 47 Liberty St, Catskill, NY 12414 or to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Ln, Latham, NY 12110.
