Obituary of Raymond Daniel Kohler

GREENVILLE – Raymond Daniel “Danny” Kohler, 67, passed away Saturday January 4, 2020. He was born on November 16, 1952 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn to the late Raymond Edward and Eleanor Reilly Kohler. He was raised in Greenpoint and attended St. Cecilia School. He first moved to Greenville, then to Evergreen, CO, and then to Nashua, NH, before moving back to Greenville. Danny worked at Becker’s Electronics in East Durham, and then for Storage Computer Corp in Nashua, NH as a cabinet maker. He was a hard worker and was proud of his work making cabinets for Storage Computer Corp, before an injury left him disabled. Danny loved billiards and enjoyed playing pool with his friends at the Eliot Assisted Living Center in Catskill. In addition to his parents, Danny was predeceased by his brother, John Kohler, and his nephew, John Joseph “John-John” Kohler, all of whom he loved and missed after they passed. Danny is survived by his sister, Joyce (William) Silk; his wife, Phyllis Kohler; his nieces, Kelly (Jim) Fagan and Megan Kohler; his nephew, Jim Silk; many grand-nieces and nephews; his sisters-in law, Carolyn (Richard) Smith and Denise (Cody) Elmendorf; and his brother-in-law, Robert (Jennifer) D’Andrea. Danny has been privately cremated and was interred in the Greenville Cemetery with his mother, Eleanor. Condolences can be posted at ajcunninghamfh.com.
