Obituary of Gary James Vedder

HANNACROIX - Gary James Vedder, 52, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Apr. 10, 2012. He was born in Catskill on Jan. 12, 1960, son of Mary Lou (Dean) Griffith and the late Frank Vedder. Gary grew up in Oak Hill and was a graduate of GCS. He was employed at American Thermostat, Becker Electronics, Dean's Mills and Agway, now Purina in Guilderland Center. Gary was a member of the NRA and enjoyed fishing, spelunking, NASCAR and family. Besides his father Gary was predeceased by a brother William Vedder. In addition to his mother, survivors include his significant other, Tammy Miller; his step-children, Olivia, Stephanie, Amber and Jerry Miller, Sherry Georgeson and Amanda Bolton; his siblings, Frank Vedder Jr, Diana Lynn Austin, George Vedder and Travis Weeks; cousins, nieces and nephews.
