Obituary of Kathleen V. Cammer

CONESVILLE - Kathleen V. Rogers Cammer, age 85, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Mountainside Residential Care Center in Margaretville after a long illness. Born in Austin, Minnesota on October 24, 1926, she was daughter of the late John and Emily Erickson Rogers, and wife of the late Robert Cammer, who predeceased her in 2002. Mrs. Cammer resided in Conesville for over 70 years. She worked as a licensed teaching aide at BOCES in Delaware County for many years, and was retired. Family was the center of Mrs. Cammer's life, and she loved to cook and bake for her family. Survivors include her children, Sharon (Everett) Fancher and David (Peggy) Cammer both of Conesville; grandchildren, Brian (Karen) Fancher, Darren (Christina) Fancher, Robert (Tara) Cammer and Amanda (Loren) Grugan; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Cole Fancher, David Cammer and Zach Grugan; step great-grandchildren, Laryn, Casey, Michael and Cameron; siblings, Estella (Kenneth) Nolte, Clara (George) Stapchuck, James (Ginny) Rogers, William (Jane) Rogers; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Cammer was predeceased by three siblings, Ellen Graves, Burton and George Rogers. Calling hours will be Friday, March 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville. The funeral will be Saturday, March 31 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial in Fairlawn Cemetery, Prattsville.
