EAST DURHAM - Rose C. Spinnato, 73 years, passed away at her home on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012. She was daughter of the late Charles and Madeline Marrone. Rose is survived by her loving husband Salvatore Spinnato, whom she married on April 27, 1957. She was a loving mother and most admired by her four children and their spouses: Salvatore III and Kathleen Spinnato, Josephine and Larry Landgren, Madeline and Mark Schymanski, Charles Spinnato and Janice McLachlan. Rose was a wonderful grandmother who adored her grandchildren: Salvatore IV (Nicole), Kristen, Sean, Chad, Christine, Jared, Cole, Marcus and Matthew. Rose will be remembered for her sense of humor and her true, unconditional love for her husband, children and grandchildren. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Knock Shrine, 2052 SR 145, East Durham, where the Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will follow in Medusa Cemetery.
