Obituary of Annette Nistico

Annette Nistico passed away Tuesday morning, January 24, 2012 at her home in South Westerlo, NY. She and her family moved to South Westerlo in November 1972. She was the owner of Mapletree Apartments, which she founded in 1977 with her husband Mario Nistico. She leaves behind a long legacy of helping countless people during their time of need with advice on health issues, needing a safe place to live or just a friendly voice to talk to. Her husband Mariano, of 33 years, predeceases her. Surviving are her sons Charles and Joseph Patti, both of Phoenix, AZ, Mario Nistico, Stuyvesant, Gino Nistico, Greenville; half-son Mariano Nistico, Huntington L.I. Also her grandchildren Carina Nistico, Larry Salisbury, Wendy Hughes, Michelle Mack, Charles Patti Jr. Joseph Patti Jr. and Hallie Patti; one brother, Henry Pellegrino, one sister, Veronica Hoffman; predeceased by one brother, Nick Pellegrino. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville. The funeral will be Friday at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home, then to St. John the Baptist Church, 4987 SR 81, Greenville, where the Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Westerlo Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 12, Westerlo, NY 12193, or to Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 will be appreciated.
