GREENVILLE - Barbara J. (Bowen) Duncan, age 56, died peacefully on Monday, January 23, 2012 at her home with her family by her side, after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Albany to Curtis M. Sr. and Elizabeth J. Bowen. In addition to her mother, Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Victor A. Duncan Sr. and her children, Sherry Sprague, Tina Morse (Daniel), Bruce Sprague Jr. (Angelena), Victoria Duncan-Strain (Joshua), and Victor A. Duncan Jr., and predeceased by her daughter, Lori Sprague. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and eight siblings. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial in Alcove Cemetery.
