Obituary of John Joseph Healy

Healy, John J. GREENVILLE - John Joseph Healy, (46) aka "The Rock & Roll Man", passed away on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 at Barnwell Nursing Home after a long illness. Born and raised on Long Island, John had many friends and family members who got him interested in C.B. radio. John was an avid drummer who loved rock and roll music. His nickname came about because of his love for the drums and rock & roll music. John is survived by his mother, Gail Healy of L.I. and Greenville; step-father, Larry Zwiazek and step-grandmother Helen Zwiazek of L.I. and Greenville; sister, Robin, brother-in-law Ron, niece Rose and nephew Matthew Bridger, all of Cobleskill; aunts, uncles and cousins from Fla., Del., and cousin Randy Miller of Cohoes. John was predeceased by both sets of grandparents; his father, Robert John Healy; and an uncle. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 4987 SR 81, Greenville, followed by burial at 3 p.m. in Pinelawn Cemetery on L.I.
