Obituary of Teresa A. Gleason

Gleason, Teresa A. GREENVILLE - Teresa A. Gleason, age 44, passed away at St. Peter's Community Hospice Inn on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011. She was born in Catskill on August 28, 1967, daughter of Vito and Carol Schlegel Abate of Greenville. Teresa was employed as a receptionist at Hannay Reels, Inc. in Westerlo, and previously was employed at GNH Lumber in Greenville. She was a faithful member of the South Westerlo Congregational Christian Church. Teresa was a loving wife and mother who loved to shop and enjoyed snowmobiling, and dearly loved her canine companions, Chloe and Buster. In addition to her parents, Teresa is survived by her husband, Joseph Gleason; her daughter, Stephanie Gleason and boyfriend Shaun; her siblings, Angela Montalbano (Chris), Jomarie Giovanniello (Jesse), Carla Abate-Cavanaugh (Matt) and Vincenzo Abate (Jen); also survived by several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at South Westerlo Congregational Christian Church, with burial following in Greenville Cemetery.
