Obituary of Evelyn Provan

Provan, Evelyn GREENVILLE - Evelyn Provan, age 88, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 13, 2011 after a long illness. She was born in Paterson, NJ on June 17, 1923, daughter of the late Wallace and Lena VanDyk, and wife of the late David Provan, her husband of 50 years. Evelyn was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Greenville. Evelyn is survived by her children, David Provan of Preston Hollow, Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Breunig of Greenville and Mrs. Henry (Nancy) Lanum of Fallbrook, CA; three grandsons, Robert, Frederick and Mark Breunig; three great-grandchildren, Jeremy, McKenzie and Madison Breunig. Funeral service will be Thursday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends may also call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at A.J.
