Obituary of H. Patricia Kenna

GREENVILLE - H. Patricia "Pat" Kenna, 79 years, of Norton Hill, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 in St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. She was born in the Bronx on Apr. 23, 1935, daughter of the late William and Mary (Regan) Murphy. Pat had been employed as an Accounting Secretary with Combined Life Ins. Co. in Albany until her retirement. Pat was a loving mother and grandmother and a devoted sister. She loved to read, watch old movies on the television, go dancing and socializing with her friends. Besides her parents, Pat was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Kenna in 2003, a brother, Thomas Murphy and a sister, Margaret Schweers. Surviving is her son, Patrick J. Kenna (Karen) of Norton Hill; her two grandchildren, Sean and Madolyn Kenna and a sister, Kathleen Kenahan. Funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 29 at 10:15 AM from the Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville, NY 12083 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Our Lady of Knock Shrine in East Durham. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be in the Greenville Cemetery.
