Obituary of Rose M. Webb

RAVENA - Rose M. Webb, 86, died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Ellis Long Term Care Center in Schenectady. Born in Haverstraw, she was the beloved wife of the late Lynn F. "Bud" Webb. Rose lived in Ravena for over 50 years where she and her husband owned and operated a grocery store and gas station. Rose was dedicated to her family and will be missed by her children, John (Patty) of Ravena, David of Clifton Park, Laurie of Ravena, Lynne (Steve) of Guilderland, and Kevin (Beth) of Latham; her grandchildren, Chris (Kristine), Nick, Tim, Frannie, Robbie, Valerie, Rosemary and Julie; step-grandchildren, Erin and Kipp; great-grandchild, Mackenzie. Rose is further survived by two brothers, Sylvester (Anne) Jones of Stony Point, NY and Jim (Elizabeth) Jones of VA; sisters-in-law, Lois Morrison of New City, NY, Jane Jones of CT and Mary Jones of PA & FL; many nieces and nephews. Rose is predeceased by her sister Mary, brothers John, Victor and Charles, and her beloved grandson, Jason. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Friday, June 10, at 11 a.m., at St. Patrick's Church, 21 Main Street, Ravena. Her ashes will be buried privately in Alcove Cemetery.
