Obituary of August L. Kruzensk

GREENVILLE - August L. Kruzensk, 93, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. He was born in Brooklyn on Apr. 27, 1918, son of the late August and Magdalen Kruzensk. August served his country in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. He was employed as a Salesman with the S.B. Thomas Baking Co. until his retirement. August was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church and was a devoted family man. Besides his parents, August was predeceased by his beloved wife of 67 years in 2007, Agnes Kruzensk; his daughter, Mary Lindlau in 2009; and a sister Madeline Kruzensk. Surviving are his three grandchildren, Mary Koelmel, Roy Lindlau and Joseph Lindlau; his three great-grandchildren, Michelle Koelmel, Wally Koelmel and Jeremy Lindlau; and his son-in-law, Roy Lindlau. The funeral will be Monday, May 23, at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church. Friends may call at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville, Sunday from 6 to 8 PM. Interment will be in the Saratoga National Cemetery. Those who wish to remember August in a special way may contribute in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
