Obituary of George McCarthy

George McCarthy, 64 years, of Greenville, NY (formerly of the Bronx) passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011 in St. Peter's Hospice Inn, in Albany, NY. He was born on Dec. 19, 1946 in the Bronx, son of the late James and Mary J. (Gilmour) McCarthy. George was a Milkman with Hermany Farms in the Bronx for 20 years. Besides his parents, George was predeceased by two brothers, Edward and James McCarthy. Surviving are his brother, John McCarthy and his sister, Patricia Barry and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Knock Shrine. Arrangements by the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, Greenville, NY.
