Patrick J. Byrne passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011 in Albany, NY. He was born on Jan. 9, 1946, he was surrounded by those he loved as he slipped away. The beauty of his passing is that it was just as his life, he was embraced first by his wife and then by his six children and their spouses and then by his sixteen grandchildren; Loved fully even at the last moments. He was a man of great integrity and compassion, beloved by family and all who called him friend. The greatest thing he leaves behind is a depth of character that will pass on for all of time through generations without waiver simply because he wanted it that way.
