Obituary of Melody M. Caswell

ALBANY - Melody M. Caswell, 60, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at her winter residence in Myrtle Beach, SC. Born in Schenectady, Melody spent her school years in Rotterdam Junction. Following school, she then worked for GE Global Research in Niskayuna for 37 years until retirement. Melody was an active member of the Congregational Christian Church in Ravena and the Greater Ravena Area Lions Club. Melody is survived by her husband, William N. "Bill" Caswell; two sons, James Slater of Rotterdam, Eric and Monica Caswell of VA; four daughters, Tara Caswell of SC, Traci Orne of VA, Joanne and Vince Barone of FL, Linda and Barny Arnold of New Baltimore. A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, May 16 at 7 p.m. at the Congregational Christian Church, 175 Main Street (corner of Mountain Road), Ravena, NY 12143.
