RAVENA - August J. "Augie" Gegenbauer, 72, formerly of Preston Hollow, died Friday, May 6, 2011 at St. Peter's Hospital. He was born in Rensselaerville on Dec. 11, 1938, son of the late August and Anna Gegenbauer. Augie is the former husband of Ethel Blakeslee; father of Tasha Gegenbauer, Tayna Gegenbauer; stepfather of Crystal Simmons; grandfather of Lolita, Abigail and Efrain.
