Obituary of Father Gabriel

Father Gabriel AKA Gregory B. Smith (61) of Oneonta, NY passed away suddenly on March 18, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Davenport, Iowa on July 7, 1949 son of the late Rex D. & Virginia (Carlson) Smith. Upon graduating from High School he devoted his life to his church. Surviving is his sister Susan K. Stender (Al) of Donahue, Iowa and two nephews Brett & Sean Stender. Services will be 10AM Sat. March 26 at the Monastery of the Dormition, Pucker Street, Preston Hollow, NY 12469. Interment will follow in the Potter Hollow Cemetery.
