**Obituary for Patricia A. Nesbitt**

Patricia A. Nesbitt, aged 85, of Freehold, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 1, 2024. Born on April 28, 1939, to the late James and Catherine (Harrington) Nesbitt, Patricia grew up in New York City. Her professional journey began at the age of 18, when she joined ABC, where her exceptional work ethic and sense of responsibility propelled her to the position of production unit manager. Throughout her career, she made significant contributions to notable programs, including the Dick Cavett Show and the long-running soap opera, All My Children.

Following her retirement, Patricia relocated to Freehold, NY, where she embraced her passions. An avid theater enthusiast, she found great joy in reading and played tennis in local tournaments. Additionally, she practiced Tai Chi and dedicated her time to teaching English as a second language. Known for her intelligence and kindness, Patricia was a loyal and trustworthy friend, embodying thoughtfulness and authenticity in all her relationships.

In addition to her parents, Patricia is predeceased by her sister Janet, who passed away in 2011.

She is survived by two nieces, Donna Caffero Bradley of Mohegan Lake, NY, and Ruan Caffero of Rensselaerville, NY, as well as her daughter, Isabella Caffero of Brooklyn, NY, and her dear friend Jean MacLean.

The family would like to Thank Father Kyle Eads for his kindness and compassion he showed Pat during her time of need, and a special Thank You to Norma for caring for Pat over the past year.

A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Knock Shrine, located at 2052 State Route 145, East Durham, NY, Father Kyle Eads officiating.
