Obituary of MarieElena Ann Deyo
Earlton- Marie Deyo passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 17th surrounded by her family. She was 76 years old. She was born in the Bronx on March 5, 1947, to the late Joseph Desio and Elvira (Dolly) Scarano. Later moving to Greene County, she met her late husband, Mike Deyo. They had four children.
She graduated from Catholic school and went on to work for Taconic D.D.S.O. as a care giver for those with developmental disabilities.
Marie loved to spend quality time with her family and at times “torturing” them, cursing, yelling, and cooking.
Predeceased also include sister Doreen Bernesser, daughter Grace Deyo and grandson Grayson Eugene Jones.
Survivors include son Scott (Michelle) Deyo, daughters Melany (Don) Deyo, Darla (Chuck) Jones, sister Pamela Lucido, brother Louis Rolleri of Earlton, 12 grandchildren Michael (Brandy) Deyo, Mariah Deyo, Selena (Mike) Darran, Sydney (Elijah) Darran, Iciania (Anthony), Abagail, Julian, Carbury, Mitchell Passino, Nicholas Passino, and Savanna Passino. Two great-grandchildren Tricia, Gracelynn as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 29th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville.
