Obituary of William Joseph Sadowski

COEYMANS HOLLOW – William J. Sadowski, 74, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, February 23, 2017. He was born on January 7, 1943 in Far Rockaway, NY to the late William and Stella Stanis Sadowski. Bill worked as an Electronic Security Technician at Mosler Safe Company, before retiring from Diebold in 2011. He was a Life Member of the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Company. He enjoyed camping, gardening, and watching footfall. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and family. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Ronald Sadowski. William is survived by his children, William (Michelle) Sadowski, Jr., Deanna (Michael) Peck, and Michelle (Matthew) Simmons; his grandchildren, Brittany and Isabella Dillon, and Emily Peck; his siblings, Carolyn (Eddie) Doherty and Joseph Sadowski; his former spouse and friend Diane Sadowski; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday February 28th from 4 to 7pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, followed by a memorial service at 7pm.
