My condolences to the entire Kempf Clan. I've had the privilege of knowing you all since before I was a teenager, and first a friend of Tim's. I was always made welcome by your Dad, and Mrs. Kempf, and he always had time to chat wherever, or whenever, we happened to meet.
Over the years as you all moved off to your own lives, some farther than others, sometimes there were gaps where he may not have seen you for a while, but he always spoke well of you all and always was interested if I had seen any of you in a period when he may not have for a time as he knew Tim and I remained friends.
I guess the thing I wanted to say was that you should all know he was always proud of you all and all your accomplishments. I think it was hard for men of his generation to express how they felt to their kids, but it never stopped him from telling others!
I thought you should know if you didn't.
He's missed, but maybe we'll all get in another hand of Euchre one day.
