Obituary of Florence V. Clickman

Florence V. Clickman (87) of Altamont, NY passed away on Mar. 21, 2010 in the St. Peter's Hospice Inn in Albany, NY. She was born in Raven Rock, NJ on Jun. 17, 1922, daughter of the late, Amos and Edith (Stryker) Smith. Florence was a lifelong Homemaker, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She loved playing bingo, pinochle card games and gardening. Florence was a very social person and loved to be out and about. She enjoyed the Altamont Senior Citizens Group. She was a friend to many and will be missed by all her friends and loving family. Besides her parents, Florence was predeceased by her husband Charles Walter Clickman in 1995, two sons, Charles William and Kenneth Clickman and a brother, Harold Smith. Surviving are her four daughters, Shirley Salisbury (William), Joan Hensley (Kenneth), Carol Chase (Richard) and Sharon Mycoff (Clark), her daughter-in-law, Wanda Clickman, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. As to Florence's wishes she was cremated and a Graveside Service to celebrate her life will be held in July in the Westerlo Rural Cemetery.
