Obituary of Everett Glenn Rasso

Everett G Rasso Sr. “Pop”- passed away Sunday July 9, 2023. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to the late Alva and Everett Rasso. The family later moved to Greenville where he pursued his pilot’s license, as well as jumping out of planes. He also liked volunteering his time to deliver meals on wheels.

 Everett met the love of his life and future bride Sandy, they moved to Berne, and bought a farm to raise their family. He also worked at Owens Corning as head electrician and president of the union for over 30 years. He loved feeding the birds, and riding his Harley.  After his retirement he went on to travel the USA with Sandy, including trips to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Upon returning from vacation life together Everett and Sandy settled down in Oak Hill to enjoy and relax with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.

 Besides his parents he is predeceased by his son Everett G. Rasso Jr.

Left behind to cherish all of the memories and joys are his wife Sandy, three daughters, Celina Rasso, Crystal Evans and Melissa Manna, as well as 6 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
