Obituary of Sandra J. Kropp-Baitsholts

Sandra J. Kropp-Baitsholts (68) of Delmar, NY, formerly of Rensselaerville, NY passed away Sat. Jan. 23 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY with her loving family at her side. She was born in Coxsackie, NY on Jan. 9, 1942 daughter of the late Virgil & Dorothy (Healm) Barkman. She spent most of her career as an Albany county SS Homemaker and was the proprietor of the Shell INN for several years. Recently she moved to good Samaratan Senior Apts. in Delmar. She often expressed how much she enjoyed her new surroundings, the wonderful friends she had made and how thoughtful and kind Bruce the manager of the apartments was. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband David Baitsholts, Sr. in 2007, her 2 children, Michelle Kropp in 1967,Todd Kropp in 1985 and her step-father Clarence Bryan. Surviving are her sons, Michael Kropp (Evelyn) of Cherry Valley, NY, Ty Kropp (Jeanne) of West Park, NY, her grandchildren, Jason Kropp (his girl friend Jessica Egdorf), Cortina Kropp, Kevin Kropp, Ty Christopher Kropp, Airman 1st class Blane Kropp (Stationed in south Korea) and Brent Kropp, her step grandchildren, Leanne Clute & Matthew Clute, her step children, Lucy Ann Pough-Bender, Lisa J. Jordan, Ronald, Ralph, Raymond & David Baitsholts, Jr. also several brothers, sisters, nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be Thurs 1PM at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR81, Greenville, NY. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11AM to 1PM prior to the service. Friends are invited to the Greenville American Legion Hall on Maple Ave after the service for a time of fellowship & remembrance. Spring interment will be in the Rensselaerville Cemetery.
