Obituary of Alisha Lynn Twiss

EAST BERNE – Alisha L. Twiss, 32, passed away suddenly on Wednesday November 21, 2018. She was born on July 29, 1986 in Catskill to Charles T. "Chuck" and Ellen A. McStine Twiss. She was raised in Coeymans Hollow and was a graduate of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School. After becoming a mother, Alisha moved to Greenville to take part in caring for her niece. She was very artistic and especially enjoyed painting. She also enjoyed cooking and hiking. She loved her daughter, caring for her niece, and caring for family. She will be remembered for her contagious smile, having a big heart, and being sociable. Alisha is survived by her loving parents, Chuck and Ellen Twiss; her beloved daughter, Kirah Sickles; her sister, Courtney (William) Tobin; her niece, Madelyn Tobin; her nephew, Harrison Tobin; her grandmother, Rebecca Twiss; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Alisha has been privately cremated. Calling hours will be held on Saturday December 1st from 10am to 12pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, followed by a memorial service at 12pm.
