Obituary of Margaret "Peg" Lovegrove

WESTERLO – Margaret "Peg" Lovegrove, 82, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Monday morning, October 2, 2017 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Troy on April 9, 1935, she was daughter of the late Samuel and Bessie Bryce McNeil. Peg was a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1952. She worked in banking in Troy for several years, then for many years as a secretary at Hannay Reels in Westerlo, retiring 20 years ago. Peg was a member of Westerlo Reformed Church. Peg is survived by her husband, Warren E. "Skip" Lovegrove, who she married on October 23, 1954; two children, Mark Lovegrove and his wife Britta, and Susan Hulick and her companion, Fred Becker; four grandchildren, Tyler and Eric Lovegrove, Albe Hulick and his wife Brittany, and Sarah Hulick; two great-grandsons, Graham and Grayson Hulick; two siblings, Henry and Mary McNeil. Calling hours will be Thursday, October 5th, from 4 to 7 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, followed by the funeral service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Christine Allen officiating. Private burial will be in Saratoga National Cemetery.
