Jacquelyn Anne Menagh, 69, of Freehold, NY, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in Albany, NY.
Jackie was born in Brooklyn, NY to John (Jack) and Louise Wager on July 9th, 1956. She went to high school at Susan Wagner, on Staten Island and graduated in 1974. She later worked Data Entry for Deloitte, Haskins, and Sell in the World Trade Center. After vocational training in programming, she moved to Upstate NY with her husband in the late 1980s. There, she worked for Eastern Mutual Insurance, in South Westerlo, as a Systems Analyst and in other capacities, until she retired in 2018. She was an avid Revolutionary War reenactor since the 1970s and enjoyed hand-sewing reproduction period clothing. She took a keen interest in the causes in her community and was always there to help those who needed it. She had an active role in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Oak Hill, NY.
Survivors include her husband; Hardy Menagh; brother, Paul Wager; nephew, Kenneth Smith, his wife Jennifer and their daughter Charlotte; cousins, Janice Markowitz, Penny Boomhouer, Wendy Macleod and Linda Deenan.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Louise Wager; father, John Wager; brother, Douglas Smith and cousin, Bill Schmidt.
