John M. Denora, 81, of Conesville, New York, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, June 12, 2026.

Born on July 18, 1944, in Staten Island, New York, John was a son of the late Donato and Domenica (Cornachio) Denora.

John worked for 20 years as a sanitation worker and also spent many years working as a butcher. He was known for his direct and straightforward nature and was never afraid to speak his mind. Those who knew him appreciated his honesty and authenticity.

John enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He also found pleasure in playing the Lottery, watching movies and television, listening to music, and taking walks. Above all, he valued the simple things in life and the people he loved.

John is survived by his beloved domestic partner and wife of 16 years, Christi Carl; his daughter, Christine Denora; his grandchildren, Salvatore Piazza and Brittney Piazza; and his son, John Denora.

In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by two sisters and a brother.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, June 19th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at AJ Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, NY 12083.
