CATSKILL – Mary Conrad, age 99, passed away in her sleep on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

            She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose greatest joy in life was her family.  She gave unconditional love, wisdom, warmth, and countless treasured memories to all who knew her.  Her family loved her deeply, and she will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and generous heart.

            Throughout her long and fulfilling life, she enjoyed traveling, and was fortunate to experience many memorable trips and adventures.  She especially loved spending time with family and friends, playing Bingo and lively games like Pinochle, creating laughter and lasting traditions along the way.

            Mary was also renowned for her wonderful cooking and baking, especially her famous New York cheesecake recipe, which became a beloved favorite at family gatherings and celebrations.  Her kitchen was always a place of comfort, love, and togetherness.

            Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished so dearly and the many lives she touched with her warmth, humor, and caring spirit.  Mary will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

            Mary is survived by her children, Wilena Thayer and husband Steve, Lyle Conrad Jr., Robert Conrad and wife Cathy, Arlene Saucier, Janet Zeust and husband Steve; her grandchildren, Jennifer Seekamp, Kyle Conrad and wife Elizabeth, Tate Conrad and wife Katie, Brian Thayer and wife Laura, Andy Thayer and wife Jessica, Melina Conrad, Rosemary Caldwell, Joey Saucier, Nathan and Nick Kusisto; ten great-grandchildren, Brayden, Avery, Olivia, Ellery, Miles, Hudson, Arlo, Christyn, Hayden, and Elwood; her beloved sister, Nelta Beojekian; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Lyle Conrad Sr. and her daughter, Patricia.

            A calling hour will be on Saturday, June 6th from 9 until 10 a.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville.  The funeral will be at 10 a.m., followed by burial in the Town of Catskill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Columbia-Greene Humane Society, 111 Humane Society Road, Hudson, NY 12534 will be appreciated.  Condolences may be posted at ajcunninghamfh.com.
