Francis "Frank" White, (70) of Westerlo, NY passed away at his home on March 8, 2010. He was born in Albany, NY on July 9, 1939 son of the late Gorman & Catherine (Hughes) White. Frank was a retired Detective having served the Albany Police Dept. for 31 years retiring in 1992. He was a devoted husband to his late wife Marjorie (Lounsbury) White and a loving father and grandfather to his step children & step grandchildren. He will be remembered as a friend to all he met. Surviving are his step children: Luann Mead (Eric), of Albany, NY, Henry Manss, Jr. (Patricia) of CA & Ruth Ann VanTassel of Glenmont, his step grandchildren, Jason Kocienski, Trista , Jessica & Jacqueline VanTassel, Andrew, Bridget & Christian Manss and his step great grandchildren, Skyler VanTassel, Faith Manss & Kiara Dugan. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday March 11, at 10AM at St. John the Baptist Church in Greenville, NY. Spring interment will be in the Westerlo Rural Cemetery.
