Aloana Rathgeber, 80, of Gilboa, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026. Born on September 28, 1945, in Queens, New York, she spent the majority of her life in Gilboa, where she created a loving home and deep roots with her family.

Aloana found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially gardening and cooking, where she expressed her care and love for those around her.

She is survived by her children, Eddie Jr, Paul, and Lonnie; her brother, Alan; sister, June; and her cherished grandchildren, Melissa, Nikki, Aiyana, and Wolfie. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Sr, her son, Kris, and her brothers George, Paul, and Vigo.

Aloana will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the deep love she had for her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
