Dennis J. Hillicoss

Dennis J. Hillicoss, 66, of West Coxsackie, New York, passed away at home on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Dennis was a man with a warm heart, great humor and honesty and a wonderful love for his family.  His greatest joy was his family, friends and riding his motorcycle.  Nothing lit him up more than time with his grandchildren and their laughter.  Dennis leaves behind a long time legacy working with his dad and later owning and running Manley Hillicoss Excavating II, Inc.  He was a proud but humble man always wanting to help folks.  Dennis and his laughter, love and memories will stay bright forever in our hearts. 

He is survived by his loving wife Francesca “Fran” Hillicoss, daughter EricaJo Tice, son in law Chad Tice, daughter Casey Connell, son in law Bryan Cook, son Jason Connell, daughter in law Ashley Connell, cherished grandchildren, Connor Hillicoss, Shelby Macie, Gavin Macie, Gabriella Tice, Raymond Connell, Steven Connell, Paul H. Harwood, III, Denise Harwood, Anakin Harwood, Theodore Cook, sister Sharon Keenan, brother in law Thomas Keenan, brother Manley F. Hillicoss, Jr., sister in law Patricia Hillicoss, sister in law Theresa Tiberi, sister in law Linda Watterson, brother in law Robert Watterson, sister in law Antoinette Tiberi, sister in law Melissa Dunican, brother in law Todd Dunican and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Dennis is predeceased by his mother Marjorie (Waldron) Hillicoss, father Manley F. Hillicoss, Sr., sister Dolores Holewienko, sister Linda Taylor, sister Debra Rowels, brother Gary Hillicoss.

Family and friends are invited to come together to honor his life. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March, 7, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, NY.
