Sally Louise Heines, 88, of Cornwallville, New York, passed away Monday morning, February 9, 2026, at Albany Medical Center. Born and raised on Long Island, New York, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Mary Hamel.

Sally married Joseph Heines on October 25, 1958, and together they built a life filled with love and devotion.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, and by their daughter, Kim.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Heines, and five grandchildren: Noelle Marie Kanas, Meadow Elizabeth Heines, Aaylla Charlotte Heines, Gehrig Joseph Heines, and Ripken Thomas Heines.

Sally cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Sally’s family remembers her with warm gratitude for the love and kindness she shared throughout her years. Reunited with her beloved husband, she has gone home.

There will be a burial in the Spring, information will be updated. Care has been entrusted to A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home.
