GREENVILLE – Alyce M. Buffe passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.

          Alyce was born in the Bronx on November 26, 1931, a daughter of the late Patrick and Nora Murphy Dalton.  She lived in the Bronx, East Nassau, Bayshore, Freehold, Greenville, and Fort Myers, Florida.  Alyce graduated from Columbia High School in East Greenbush with the Class of 1949.  She worked as a secretary in the State Office Building in Albany, and as Secretary to the Commissioner of Social Services for Suffolk County on Long Island.  Alyce was a member of the Catskill and Cairo senior citizens groups.  She enjoyed long drives, good food, and traveling with her husband.

          Alyce is survived by her son, Thomas J. Buffe; and her grandson, Dylan T. Buffe.  She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas D. Buffe on November 13, 2005.

          Alyce has been cremated, and her ashes will be buried privately with her husband at Saratoga National Cemetery.  Condolence messages may be posted at ajcunninghamfh.com.
